Sorry for the delay in updating.... The Summer Series Championship went really well. A great weekend of racing! All our riders did excellent. The more experienced riders showed the way to the newer riders and they followed up just nicely. For those who have never been or only been to one other big event, such as a State Qualifier, it is an eye opener and the nerves will chatter! They all handled it well and we are very proud of every rider that represented Naples BMX!

Thank you and keep up the great riding!

It was a great race weekend for our Summer Series Race 3 & 4

We started off on Saturday at high noon with a great rider clinic from Ezel Johnson. 2:00pm started open practice and at 6:00pm The weather was good and the gates where dropping! A number of our Naples BMX riders dominated the track, but had a lot of tough competition. Congratulations to all the winners and even those who didn't. It was a tough rythm section but everyone made it without too many bruises and scratches.

Thank you to all the riders who participated and the parents who brought them!

A special thank you to the Marco Island Merriott Resort and Spa , Chef Wallach and Marie Huey for their extra effort in providing excellent food and drinks in our concessions. Of course it takes more than two so thank you to all who volunteered their time and efforts with our concessions.

Another big thanks to the SSA and all the volunteers who worked the track, Raffle ticket sales, rider support, and of course the wonderful medical team that took care of the riders who got a little to upclose and personal with the dirt!

A special note: Congatulations to William Ermatinger, do to his perfect weekend (1st in every race) he has now earned his points joined the Novice ranks!

Check out our very own Evan Orstad "10 Novice - NBL Grand National #2" and Michele Huey "12 Girls - NBL Grand National #12"!

2 & 12

I would like to give a huge appreciation to all who worked on our track rework project. Lykins SignTech and the Lykins family for all their labor and heavy equipment use. And all the others who supported our efforts with labor and moral support; Rob, Juan, Ricardo, Michelle, Marie, Steven, Orlando, Eliude, Evan, Eddy, Suan, Anna, Jesse, Loretta and Eddie.
